Boris Kuritnik is the Managing Partner of Kumo Capital, where he focuses on building long-term value through disciplined acquisitions and development. Over the past 15 years, he has grown Kumo from a family office into an institutional-style syndication and fund platform, leading more than $1 billion in transactions across emerging markets, ground-up development, and value-add repositioning.

Today, he is focused on assembling portfolios of small-bay industrial and retail properties across the Northeast, Midwest, Southeast, and Sun Belt—creating value through active asset management, disciplined rent growth, and reliable dividend distributions.

Boris holds a Finance degree from University of Massachusetts, pursued advanced studies in Real Estate Finance and Development at Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and completed the Owners Presidents Management Program at Harvard Business School, Cohort 63.

Mike, the Chief Financial Officer, Vice President of Development, and Co-Founder of Kumo. As a forward-thinking leader, he has been instrumental in implementing cutting-edge accounting technology stacks to enhance operational transparency and improve investor relations.

With a proven track record of spearheading successful projects, Mike has expertly navigated the entitlement process for various developments, ranging from a 40-unit eco-friendly condominium complex to a luxurious 181-unit apartment community.

At Kumo, Mike oversees development timelines, fosters strong relationships with city officials, and manages capital positioning. Adept at balancing both the strategic and practical aspects of development, he ensures that each project is executed with precision and excellence.

Mike’s background includes graduating at the top of his class from Northeastern University with degrees in Finance and Business Management. His strong foundation in academics, combined with his hands-on experience, make him a true asset to the Kumo team and its clients.

Oleg Elisev has built a distinguished career in real estate and finance through dedication, expertise, and a commitment to excellence. With a Bachelor of Business Administration and a Master of Science in Finance, Oleg’s educational background laid a strong foundation for his professional journey. Starting as a stock trader, he gained invaluable experience analyzing U.S. stock and real estate market trends, sharpening his analytical skills and preparing him for a dynamic career in the real estate sector.

Since relocating to Boston in 2009, Oleg has served as a Financial Examiner and Asset Manager at Kumo Capital. He oversees a diverse portfolio of more than 450 residential and commercial units, excelling in asset management, real estate development, adaptive reuse, property management, brokerage, and business development.

Oleg’s dedication to professional growth is evident in his advanced training and certifications. He holds a Certificate in Real Estate Finance from Boston University and completed specialized training in Commercial Real Estate Analysis and Investment at MIT’s School of Architecture and Planning. As a licensed Massachusetts Real Estate Broker, Oleg is pursuing the Certified Property Manager (CPM) and Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) designations.

Mike, an Independent Accounting Consultant, is joining us from Kforce. He specializes in connecting with Commercial Real Estate clients who are looking to grow over the next 1-5 years. While having a passion for the technology side of Accounting, he comes from an Audit and Tax background.  Efficiency, timeliness, and accuracy are a key part of his approach to helping companies take the next step.

Mike’s background includes graduating from University of South Carolina with degrees in Accounting, Finance, and Information Technology.  While beginning his career as a public accountant, Mike’s path has lead him to being the Director of Accounting and Finance for a Commercial Real Estate firm to now Consulting with clients Independently.

Ashley is a seasoned real estate professional with a distinguished 15-year career in portfolio and asset management. Her extensive experience is highlighted by her successful oversight of diverse portfolios valued at over $61.8 million, encompassing approximately 1,200 residential and commercial units and spanning 714,000 square feet.

Outside of her professional pursuits, Ashley leads an active and intellectually curious life. She is an avid scuba diver, a regular hiker, and an amateur farmer. A voracious reader, she is also currently dedicated to learning Japanese.
